Welcome! This is my 17th year with Columbus ISD. My goal is to help each student develop skills that will enable them to be successful.  I began my teaching career at the elementary campus in the ARI program before moving to 4th grade.  I am excited to be teaching 6th grade Reading and 7th grade ELAR at CJHS and look forward to a great year.

 

I am a proud graduate of Columbus High School (Class of '81).  I earned a BBA degree from Texas A&M University - College Station and a M.Ed. degree from the University of Houston - Victoria.  I have two daughters that attended CISD who have gone on to earn degrees and have successful careers. My hobbies are playing the piano as well as solving sudoku and jigsaw puzzles.
