Welcome to Columbus Junior High School-Riverside Campus. The faculty and staff here at CJHS are dedicated to serving and meeting the needs of our students. CJHS-RC offers students the opportunity to become better students and citizens. CJHS-RC is a 6th through 8th grade campus with approximately 330 students with 45 teachers and staff members.  Our mission statement is “Preparing today’s students to succeed in tomorrow’s world”. We strive to prepare our students for high school. Our academic course offerings include an array of opportunities for our students ranging from special education to pre-advanced placement and gifted/talented. A variety of elective courses are also offered at each grade level to provide a well-rounded education for all.
Leadership, communication, responsibility, self-discipline, safety, and respect are emphasized daily. Our students are encouraged to be the best at everything they do at CJHS-RC. Our goal is to make them better students and better citizens.
A productive partnership between students, parents, teachers, staff, and community members is essential to ensure that our students receive the best education possible.
We are proud of our campus and the students who come through our doors every day. We personally invite each one of you to come by and visit our campus.
