Howdy Cardinals!!!

 

I'll be teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade P.E. and coaching here at CJHS/CISD. I serve as the JH Boys’ Athletic Coordinator and coaching HS Football, Head Boys Basketball, and HS Baseball. This is my 7th year of teaching/coaching and my 5th year at Columbus ISD. Teaching and coaching has always been an extreme passion of mine and I am willing to do anything and everything for the kids, school, and community.

 

I graduated from Sam Houston State University with an Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. I worked for an after-school program called Kids Klub while going to college. Once I started working with kids and teaching them the ins & outs of sports, I knew what I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. When I graduated, I got my alternative certification and it has led to me to where I am today. I like to play golf in my spare time and also like to hunt and fish when time allows me to do so as well. I'm very passionate about everything I do and have a real relaxed personality. I am very easy to talk to and a very family orientated individual.
