This is my 31st year in education and I am happy to say that I will be retiring at the end of the 2023-2024 school year!  I graduated from Blinn Junior College and St. Mary's University with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science.  I was at Dime Box ISD for 6 years, United ISD (Laredo) for 8 years, and working on my 17th year here at Columbus ISD.  I graduated from Dime Box High School and was fortunate to come back to my alma mater to teach and coach.  After being in Dime Box and teaching and coaching multiple subjects and sports, I felt I needed a change and moved to Laredo where I taught and coached at Washington Middle School and United High School.  After being in Laredo for a while, I wanted to move back closer to home.  I started off at Columbus High School where I was the head girls basketball coach and taught Health.  After 6 years, I moved to the junior high where I am the girls coordinator and coach volleyball, basketball, and track.  I teach Health for 8th grade.
